The “Parade that Shares and Cares” returned this past Saturday to Rockville Centre’s streets, drawing several hundred onlookers for the first time since 2019. The Tommy Brull Foundation has continued its mission to help those with physical, mental and emotional disabilities through the pandemic. At its 14th annual fundraiser at the St. Agnes Parish Center on Nov. 13, the foundation made donations to 13 groups and individuals, including the Backyard Players & Friends and South Side High School student Will Ryan, who was the foundation’s 2021 Courage and Resilience Award winner. more

The usual live stage play of skits turned into a movie premiere, where the stars got a red carpet entrance in front of a crowd many on the John A. Anderson Recreation Centre lawn on June 10. more
