So, I actually feel like I’ve been here for more than three or four days. I feel like I’m coming back home. I lived in Malverne. I went to Our Lady of Lourdes in Malverne. In grammar school, I had a lot of friends in Lynbrook. I used to travel all over. As far as now, people have been very warm and friendly and welcoming. I have nothing to complain about at all. They’re great. more

Becker Educational Foundation has been giving out scholarships to high school seniors since 1958, and it was no different this year as Kevin Li, Valley Stream South High School’s valedictorian, was presented with $4,000 at Angelina’s restaurant in Lynbrook on June 26 — the same night as his graduation. more
