Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman and Nassau County Legislature presiding officer Howard Kopel, said they were compelling Hofstra University president Susan Poser to appear before the legislature next week. But a court has since delayed any such appearance until at least February, after the school successfully petitioned the same court that ruled against the county in its negotiations with the Las Vegas Sands to redevelop the Nassau Coliseum last year.
