1500 lose power in Island Park

Many homes and businesses is Island Park reported power problems this morning. Some lost power completely, some had flickering lights.

PSEG reported 1500 customers South of Daly Boulevard and West of Austin Boulevard lost power for varying times.

Spokesperson Elizabeth Flagler said the majority, 1090 customers lost power for four minutes, and the remainder lost power for 45 minutes.

She said PSEG is investigating the cause.
