Former classmates at Sanford H. Calhoun High School came together last week for the alumni association’s annual Friday After Thanksgiving, or F.A.T., Party.

For the seventh consecutive year, the Calhoun High School Alumni Association hosted the F.A.T. Party at Kasey’s American Grill in Rockville Centre the day after the holiday. Graduates gathered on Nov. 23 to spend time with one another and show support for their alma mater by donating to a scholarship drive.

By asking event-goers to enter a 50/50 raffle drawing or make a personal donation, the alumni association raised money to be awarded to members of class of 2013. Alumni association board members said they were grateful that former students showed support for the scholarship program and this year’s senior class.
