East Rockaway firefighters battle car fire

The East Rockaway Fire Department tackled a working car fire last Friday at the corner of Main Street and Talfor Road.
Unit 404 was first on the scene, followed by 4041 and then 405. The call was under the direction of 1st Asst. Chief James Henshaw.
Captain Gregg Torborg had the first line, with firefighter Suzanne Torborg on the nozzle and firefighter Mike Leal backing her up. There were no injuries reported.
