In an annual tradition, the girls of the Rockville Centre Girl Scouts gathered at the Village Green on Maple Avenue on June 14 to plant flowers.
Every year, the Girl Scouts gather at the Village Green and help beautify the area with seasonal plantings and by cleaning up the park, which also houses the village’s Sept. 11 memorial.
