How I learned to ride a camel in Israel

To any Jews who are on the fence about going on this trip, I strongly encourage you to go. Don’t even think about it. Because you’ll discover something about yourself. What exactly that is will be entirely up to you.

What meant most to me is the friendships. It’s one thing to have an experience — but another to share it with a few dozen others. And now, that experience is something that will bind the 40 of us together forever from whatever part of the country — and Canada! — we’re living in.

The trip reminded me that life is a long journey, chock full of amazing experiences. You just have to be lucky enough to realize when you’re in one. Surrounded by ancient, holy buildings, beautiful landscapes and amazing people ... this time it was easy.
