Nassau County police are searching for two men who allegedly stabbed a Long Beach man to death last Friday morning in Uniondale.

According to detectives, the fatal stabbing happened in broad daylight on Feb. 7 at 11:30 a.m. when 23-year-old Long Beach resident Ramone Green was approached by two black males as he stood in front of Hansen Cleaners on Jerusalem Avenue.

Green, police said, was “stabbed about his body.” He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 12:08 p.m. by a staff physician. Police did not say whether they had determined a motive for the attack.

One source said that Green, who attended Long Beach High School, had moved out of Long Beach several years ago.

Police are asking anyone with information about the crime to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
