Nor'Easter hits Long Island
More snow, winds for winter-weary residents

The area was hit with yet another snowstorm Thursday, this one a Nor'Easter, as heavy snowfall followed by rain covered Lynbrook and East Rockaway.
A winter storm warning remains in effect for Nassau County until 6 a.m. Friday.
The East Rockaway and Lynbrook school districts initally called for delayed openings Wednesday night, but each cancelled classes Thursday morning.
On Thursday night, Lynbrook schools announced Friday closures as well.
The East Rockaway Budget Advisory Committee meeting was also postponed until Feb. 25.
