The Long Beach Chapter and Tzipora Group of Hadassah, Jewish Women International, and the Sisterhoods of Temple Israel, Temple Emanuel and Congregation Beth Sholom held their second joint Women's Dessert Seder at Temple Emanuel on March 11.
The service held tried to incoporate tradition and innovation comfortably together. The aim was that the people attending, more than 100 men and women in all, would not only enjoy themselves but also hear and learn something new.
In addition to a $5 admission charge, raffles were sold for prizes contributed by the participating orgaqnizations. All proceeds will go to JASA to help with their weekly programming.
