Last week, Maple Pointe Assisted Living held its annual “Eat a Wing, Save a Breast” fundraiser. Wing chefs from restaurants all over Rockville Centre came out to test their mettle — and their sauce — in the competition.
The event also serves as a fundraiser. Throughout the month of October, Maple Pointe collects donations to donate to breast cancer research. So far this year, Maple Pointe has raised more than $5,600.
The top finishers in this year’s competition were Monaghan’s Restaurant, Kasey’s Kitchen and Cocktails and RJ Daniels.
