Assemblyman thanks students for participation in Coats for Kids

New York State Assemblyman David McDonough, a Republican from North Merrick, recently swung by Levy-Lakeside Elementary School in Merrick to thank sixth-graders for their participation in his annual collection drive for the Coats for Kids campaign, sponsored by the Neighborhood Cleaners Association. The campaign provides children in need with warm, gently used coats. At left, McDonough with Levy-Lakeside sixth-graders and the school principal, Elizabeth Trencheny.
