Bicyclist struck by car

Ten-year-old Kevin Moreno was out for a bicycle ride with his father when he was unexpected hit by a car on the corner of Front Street and Green Avenue on Sunday afternoon.

Moreno was tended to by Nassau County emergency medical technicians for minor injuries and was expected to make a full recovery. The boy and his father were both wearing helmets at the time of the incident.
