Blending the past and present at country fair

Posted

History oozes from the 18th century Rock Hall land that is now a Town of Hempstead museum and the past and present mix constantly on the 3 acres in Lawrence, especially at the two-day Rock Hall Country Fair that took place last month.

Performances and workshops by the National Circus Project complemented the bluegrass and other American music played by the Bob Stump Band. There were historical exhibits, antique cars, craft vendors, a petting zoo, pony rides, a pumpkin patch and scarecrow building.
