Build your own gingerbread house

On Saturday, Dec. 17 at noon, participants will have the chance to build their own gingerbread houses at the East Rockaway Recreation Center, 17 John St. $10 per kit, must register in advance with the recreation center. Open to children ages 5 and up and includes photo opportunities with Santa Claus. Call (516) 341-0996.
