Two Calhoun High School seniors –– Tim Campbell and James Panetta –– were recently awarded All-State honors in winter track.

Campbell, a winter track team captain, earned the All-State distinction in the mile. Campbell has also run cross-country and spring track and has maintained a 98 average in a rigorous academic program at Calhoun, where he is a member of four honor societies and the wind ensemble. He will attend Cornell University in the fall.

Panetta, also a winter track team captain, received the All-State distinction in the two-mile, as well as the Section VIII Sportsmanship Award in winter track.
