The North Merrick Library recently held a Valentine's Day event at which kids had the chance to craft their own candy creations.

The North Merrick Library held a special Valentine’s Day event, giving children in grades four through the six the opportunity to decorate their own Valentine’s Day candy bouquets.
The children had a blast, and showed their creativity by using edible hearts and other multi-colored candies to make their own gifts to give to someone special on Feb.14.
