Lawrence senior quarterback Joe Capobianco, center, became Long Island's all-time leader in passing touchdowns when he hooked up with junior Jordan Fredericks in the third quarter of the Golden Tornadoes' 53-7 win over Glen Cove last Saturday. It was the 74th scoring strike of Capobianco's career.

Lawrence senior quarterback Joe Capobianco, who entered the 2013 football season with 67 career touchdown passes to rank second all-time on Long Island, now stands alone at the top. His seventh touchdown in two weeks, a 27-yard strike to junior Jordan Fredericks early in the third quarter of the Golden Tornadoes' victory over visiting Glen Cove, vaulted him over Sayville's Steven Ferreira.
