Mostly Cloudy Car flips in rain

Two people were transported to the hospital after their car flipped over last weekend.

Just three hours after Lynbrook firefighters rescued a passenger on last Sunday afternoon from an SUV that had gone into a ravine, the same firefighters responded to an auto accident blocks away at Peninsula Boulevard and Earle Avenue.
One of the vehicles, a Jeep, flipped on its side on the lawn of a building at that intersection. Two people were injured and transported to the hospital. The accident occurred in heavy rain conditions.
