Central H.S. inducts new Honor Society members

Eighty-eight students were inducted into the National Honor Society on Feb. 11.

New National Honor Society members Nataly Aguirre, Caemon Jemil Alcantara, Musk Ali, Ryan Andres, Zainab Baig, Reyna Bellot and Natlalia Bermeo attended the ceremony.
The Central High School Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 88 new members in a ceremony at the school on Feb. 11.
Parents, faculty and current members of the group attended, where Principal Joseph Pompilio told the inductees to continue striving for academic excellence and to be role models for others.
The students were selected based on their ability to maintain high standards of scholarship, service, leadership and character, according to the district.
