At the Nassau Parade and Drill Team Captains’ Association’s annual dinner and awards ceremony, held on Nov. 13, awards were given for the best appearing Nassau County fire departments and the top drill teams for the 2010 season.

The Malverne Fire Department’s Chipmunks Drill Team was awarded second place in the county for the 2010 tournament season.

The Lakeview Sparks Drill Team tied for third place overall with the Lynbrook Tumblers.
