Cinderella's story comes to St. Agnes

Last week, the St. Agnes Cathedral School’s Drama Program presented the classic story of Cinderella.

Written by Rodgers and Hammerstein, the show originally premiered on television in 1957 and was revived on Broadway earlier this year.

The St. Agnes students brought the timeless tale to life on their stage in the Msgr. Melton Auditorium. Gaetane Bastien starred as the titular Cinderella — a poor girl mistreated by her mean stepmother and stepsisters. When a fairy godmother appears so she can attend the Prince’s ball, Cinderella’s life changes forever.
