Collecting used sports equipment

Gently used sports equipment that will benefit Adults and Children with Learning & Developmental Disabilities (ACLD), Inc., will be collected from Oct. 15 to Nov. 15, throughout Nassau County.
ACLD is youth program for those with developmental and learning disabilities. It has more than 20 group homes in the county.
The month long drive will also benefit children from various programs throughout Nassau. Everyone is encouraged to donate their gently used and new golf clubs, baseball mitts, tennis racquets, skates, balls and any sports related items at the following locations:
