Students at Maurice W. Downing Primary School in Malverne raised money for UNICEF by carrying donation boxes with them when they went trick-or-treating for Halloween. Generous community members dropped coins in their boxes instead of candy and raised a significant amount of money for UNICEF, a national organization that provides children around the world with health care, nutrition, clean water and emergency relief. The U.S. Fund for UNICEF supports UNICEF’s humanitarian relief work through fundraising, advocacy and education in the United States. Thank you to all who contributed to this cause.
