As they do every fall, volunteers of all ages joined Rockville Centre’s Environmental and Beautification Committee, gathering for the second consecutive time on a rainy Saturday morning at the Recreation Center to enjoy a quick breakfast and then to set off to various locations around town. They cleaned up and planted over 1,000 tulip bulbs that will brighten corners of the village when they bloom next spring. Co-chairs of the committee are Francis Murray and Bob Schenone.
