Hispanic Brotherhood holds annual fundraiser

Posted

Four members of the Rockville Centre community were honored at the Hispanic Brotherhood of Rockville Centre’s annual scholarship dinner at Temple B’nai Sholom on May 6. The scholarship fund allows the agency to provide financial support to students going on to college. During these difficult economic times where funding is rapidly disappearing for its youth programs, monies generated from the event support the organization’s Scholarship Fund and its After School Tutorial Program.

Among those honored were: Dr. Isaac Cohen, a founding partner of Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Associates; Gary Schwartz, Esq. a managing partner of the Jacobson & Schwartz law firm; Ingrid Davidson, the branch manager of the Rockville Centre Astoria Federal Savings Bank and former Rockville Centre Trustee Jeanne Mulry, an attorney in private practice.
