About a dozen children showed up for the village Department of Recreation’s costume contest on Oct. 17, dressed as an assortment of cute, glamorous or downright creepy characters.
Several attendees took home trophies for placing first in their age groups. Madison Rodalgo, 6, Koral Pierre, 3, and Michael Abrams, 2, each won for their outfits, as well as a few others who earned trophies.
None disappointed, however, during the preview of what the village will face when local kids hit the streets on Halloween.
