It is Election Day and all 19 Nassau County legislator seats are up for election as well as town and city posts.

Thirteen Nassau County legislator districts are on the ballot for Election Day.
In Hempstead Town, the incumbent supervisor, Republican Don Clavin is being challenged by Democrat Olena Nicks. Other town positions are on the ballot as well,
Some people already voted during the early voting period that ended Sunday.
