‘Autumn Color’ Walk
Take in the vibrant colors and delicate scents of wildflowers during a guided nature walk through Muttontown Preserve. Observe fall’s beauty with the help of an experienced guide, while strolling along paths and fields. See the season’s flowers and birds that remain in the preserve’s woodlands and meadows.

In Concert

American Chamber Ensemble
The American Chamber Ensemble celebrates Hofstra University’s 75th anniversary with a special concert this weekend. The ensemble, co-directed by Naomi Drucker and Blanche Abram, performs “Woman in Darkness” composed by Hofstra’s Herbert Deutsch. This work features acclaimed soprano Tammy Hensrud, Naomi Drucker, on clarinet, and Blanche Abram, on piano and synthesizer.

Schumann Masterworks
Chamber Players International celebrates the 200th birthday of Robert Schumann, featuring his Piano Quartet Op. 47, as it opens a new season of its brunch and concert series. The program also includes works by Brahms and Chopin. New York Philharmonic violinist Anna Rabinova, with cellist Natalia Khoma and pianist Volodymyr Vynnytsky, are the featured performers.
