The city hosted its annual fireworks event last Friday, July 9, and it drew an estimated 10,000 spectators, who lined the beaches and boardwalk.

The City of Long Beach presented its annual fireworks event at Riverside Boulevard Beach on Friday, July 9, which drew an estimated 10,000 spectators who lined the city's beaches and boardwalk to view the array of colorful lights exploding over the Atlantic Ocean. The show, presented by Bay Fireworks and sponsored by Verizon Fios, also included music by T’Bazco Road, who gave a performance on the beach. Free shuttle buses were provided by the city from west to east ends, with the Long Beach Police and Fire Departments on hand controlling traffic.
