Local children had a blast playing with light sabers at Baldwin Day, an annual day-long picnic and concert sponsored recently by the Baldwin Chamber of Commerce.

The Baldwin Chamber of Commerce pulled out all the stops for the recent Baldwin Day at Baldwin Park, an annual event that attracts dozens of local residents for a day-long celebration that includes a barbecue and concert with multiple acts.
Among the local businesses sponsoring Baldwin Day on Aug. 1 were Cecere Family Funeral Home, Ridgewood Savings Bank, Gala Fresh Farms, Novi Restaurant, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning, Town of Hempstead Employees Federal Credit Union, Wander Inn, Dawson Taxi, Fullerton Funeral Home, Applebee’s of Baldwin, Sonny’s Canal House, Bethpage Federal Credit Union and Lightbridge Academy, as well as the Baldwin-Rockville Centre Rotary Club.
