Disabled veterans from the St. Albans VA Hospital in Queens visited the Malverne American Legion Hall last Saturday to join members of Post 44 and the Ladies Auxiliary Unit 44 for a day of food and fun.
Post Commander John Hassett and Auxiliary President Carol Hassett joined forces to give the vets a day away from the hospital and a chance to mingle, meet and eat.
