The Long Island Broncos held its fall season kick-off celebration last Saturday at Seaman’s Neck Park. The Seaford-based youth football and cheerleading organization treated players and parents to food and drinks.
Players were introduced from each team, and the cheerleaders performed for the crowd. The first set of games was held the following day — coinciding with the first Sunday of the NFL season — and the schedule runs through mid-November. The Broncos, established in 1966, is open to football players ages 5-12 and cheerleaders ages 6-11.
