Charles Dragovich and Paul Casazza, former South Side High School varsity soccer teammates, participated in the U23 Men’s United States Adult Soccer Association National Cup, on the team Real Caribe. Coached by Huntley Swaby, the Real Caribes won the tournament held at Toyota Park in Chicago the weekend of July 19-22. To win the championship, the Real Caribes defeated South Sound FC from Washington 4-0 in National semi-finals and went on to defeat the Croatian Eagles from Wisconsin 1-0 in the National finals. Dragovich and Casazza played defensive positions; Dragovich was the center back defender and Casazza was the goalie.

Both Dragovich and Casazza were captains of the Cyclones. Both are currently Civil Engineering majors — Casazza attends Villanova University and Dragovich attends Manhattan College.
