Siblings, Daury, 4 and Nashla, 6 Santiago dug their faces into own cone of fluffy blue cotton candy on Oct. 7. Laughing they showed off their blue stained teeth and walked alongside their parents to participate in the Freeport Memorial Library’s Fall Festival activities.
The library and Freeport families celebrated the fall season during a full day of inflatable bouncy houses, an obstacle course, face painting, games and more. Library staff and volunteers gave out Italian ices, hot pretzels to attendees. Other activities included live karaoke and D.J. Children were seen running and playing on the library’s lawn, while parents caught up with friends and neighbors.
