A clerk at a Bellmore gas station was arrested and charged with exposing himself to a 6-year-old girl on Wednesday at 7 p.m. According to Nassau County Police, Sudheer Mogulla, 23, of Hicksville, was standing behind the counter with the victim when the incident occurred.

The girl is the daughter of the gas station’s owner, who was in his office at the time of the alleged abuse. Mogulla was charged with sexual abuse in the first degree and endangering the welfare of a child.

At press time, the Herald was awaiting word from the Nassau County District Attorney's Office on who Mogulla's attorney might be.

Mogulla pleaded not guilty at his arraignment on Thursday. Bail was set at $50,000 bond and $25,000 cash. Mogulla is being represented by the Legal Aid Society, which, as a matter of policy, does not comment on cases.
