Nassau County Police are investigating a robbery at a gas station on Merrick Road in Valley Stream on Sunday morning.
According to police, two men entered Dashmesh Petroleum (BP Station) at 385 W. Merrick Road on Feb. 19 at 3:35 a.m. One of the men pulled out a gun and demanded money from the 55-year-old station attendant, while the other man stood by the door acting as a lookout.
After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the two men left the station and got into a light blue sports utility vehicle operated by a third person. It fled westbound on Merrick Road. No injuries were reported.
The first suspect is described as a dark skinned black male, 5-foot-8 wearing a red bandana and red jacket. The second suspect is described as a light skinned black male, 5-foot-6. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-TIPS.
