Posted

Nine students have been named Citizens of the Month at Grand Avenue Middle School for October. Grand Avenue uses the following criteria to determine Citizens of the Month:

•Students embody the tenets of RICE (Respect, Impulse Control, Compassion, Equity).

•Students demonstrate courage, integrity, selflessness, accountability and good judgment while leading by example.

•Students embrace diversity, accept social responsibility and strive to fulfill Grand Avenue’s “shared purpose” of educating all.

The Citizens of the Month are Jason Senatore, Thomas Sebastopoli, Anand Bradley, Jacqueline Rofe, Jason Delucia, John Cilio and Arielle Solomon. Missing from the photo are Salvatore Monello and Jack Ostrofsky. Students are joined above by Grand Avenue Principal Kathleen Sapanski.
