Halloween hip hop

The Rockville Centre Girl Scout Association held a Brownie Halloween Hip Hop Dance on the evening of Oct. 23.Coordinated by Dawn Chruma, the association's chairwoman, over 95 girls enjoyed "awesome" dance instruction from Miss Colleen and the dancers from the Elite Dancecentre, as they hip hopped their way though the magically-transformed spooktacular Watson gym.

The costumes included pirates, disco-girls, hippies, Harry Potters, an I-POD, robots, vampires, Draculas, cowgirls, ballerinas, bumble bees and a number of other imaginative get ups. The girls had a memorable haunted evening.
