Long Island Cares teams with KISS Products on Giving Tuesday

Food and beauty products came together to help those in need.

Both Long Island Cares and KISS Products contributed food along with popular beauty products to local families on Nov. 28 as part of Giving Tuesday.

Long Island Cares that distributes more 10 million pounds of food and supplies to nearly 400 member agencies across Nassau and Suffolk counties with the help of its Harry Chapin Food Bank. KISS Products, a global beauty brand aims to empower individuals through style, as written in a news release.

KISS packed and distributed 400 care boxes with food supplies and beauty products at their Port Washington Headquarters.

"Our mission to bring beauty into the world rests not only on the quality of our products but also through our collective contributions to building healthier and sustainable communities for all,” a KISS spokesperson wrote in a news release. “We are honored to join the global generosity movement and Long Island Cares to uplift the lives of those in need.”

This is part of KISS’s holistic well-being approach in support of Long Island Cares’ crucial role in the community, a spokesperson wrote.
