Holms Citgo donating to troops, vets

From July 16 through Aug. 15, Holms Citgo station on Merrick Avenue in North Merrick will donate 1 cent from every sale to Merrick American Legion Post 1282. All proceeds will go to troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan and to the Long Island State Veterans Home at Stony Brook University and the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
