In 2017 it’s Oceanside Go… Read! The Sequel

Last year Oceanside schools officials launched Oceanside Go… Read, a social media campaign to encourage students, teachers, staff and average Oceanside residents to share online their reading experiences and love of books. The campaign culminated in summer reading contest where the community voted for a book to be read and discussed at various events over the summer.

This year, Oceanside schools is premiering the program’s successor with Oceanside Go… Read! The Sequel, and it kicks off with another contest.

Students can look for banners in each of the Oceanside district’s 10 schools and at the Oceanside Library. On each banner is an excerpt from a famous book sequel. Correctly identify and submit the titles of all ten books online at www.smore.com/sk29u and participants will be eligible for a prize.
