In memory of Cory

A Memorial soccer game will be held in Greis Park on Sunday, July 29 at 4:30 p.m. in honor of Lynbrook resident Cory Kennedy, who tragically took his life on July 1. Cory, 16, was at 10th-grader at Lynbrook High School and a member of the Lynbrook Soccer team.
“Cory will be remembered by all those that knew him as a fun loving daredevil who liked to skateboard, play drums and play soccer with a fierce determination and a will to win,” said his soccer coach Mark Fellows.
Cory is survived by his loving parents Cathy and Jerry and older brother Robbie. Family and friends are invited to attend the game.
