Indicted for murdering her mom

A grand jury has indicted attorney Suzan Grossman-Kerner, 56, for the second-degree murder of her mother in Oceanside Aug. 17.

Kerner was arrested Aug. 18 for allegedly stabbing 79-year-old Irma Grossman in their home. She pleaded not guilty in First District Court in Hempstead, and was held without bail.

According to her lawyer Kerner has serious psychiatric problems, and a history of suicide attempts.

Her arraignment is scheduled for Oct. 27.
