At Childrens School of Ballet (CSB), budding ballerinas as well as seasoned dancers can enjoy individualized attention and expert training while exploring the exciting world of classical ballet. Owner Carolyn Zettel-Augustyn and her husband Frank Augustyn combine years of knowledge and experience to enrich and inspire their students, whether amateur or professional, in the studio or on stage.

What makes CSB unique is that it follows the American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum. This globally used eight-level program combines high quality artistic training with the basics of child development. Using “Healthy Dancer” guidelines, it incorporates proper nutrition and physical therapy.

“ABT’s National Training Curriculum is helping teachers worldwide realize their full potential, giving them an edge up in dance training,” said Jenna Bitterman, the National Training Curriculum Manager at the American Ballet Theater. “We are happy to have teachers like Ms. Zettel-Augustyn implementing our program into their schools.”

The curriculum incorporates the principles of the French, Italian and Russian schools of training. As an ABT® Affiliate Teacher, Carolyn Zettel-Augustyn instructs the younger children, Primary through Level 5. Frank trains the adolescents to young adults.
