For the past five years the Island Park School District has promoted community pride and spirit by hosting its annual Community Day. This year’s event was held June 13.

The day featured a variety of outdoor activities for children including face painting, Bubble Soccer, inflatable slide, jump room, and the ever-popular dunk tank. The Island Park Faculty Association also sponsored several different types of raffles and held its annual Alumni vs. Faculty basketball game. The event raised more than $10,000 for the Faculty Association Scholarship fund, which each year awards college scholarships to Island Park graduating high school seniors.
