On Sunday, June 19, 2022, from 12 p.m to 5 p.m, Black Legacy Partners, in partnership with signature sponsors TD Bank, Mattress Firm, Fidelis Care, and National Grid, will host the 2nd annual Juneteenth Cultural Festival in Hicksville. This is one of the largest outdoor events dedicated to commemorating African American history, achievement and accomplishment. It will be in parking fields H16 and H17 of the Hicksville LIRR station. Food vendors will be available, and local Black vendors will have displays of woodcrafts and arts for sale. A live DJ will get people dancing, singing along, and relaxing as they enjoy the event.
