The Village of Valley Stream hosted a pumpkin painting event at Arthur J. Hendrickson Park on Oct. 17 and awarded prizes for the best work.
Taking home trophies were local children Aidan Tse, 7, Kaleigh Hanlon, 6, Nycollett Attamirano, 7, and Hunter Rush, 7.
The Department of Recreation ran the event.
