Kids Fest Sept. 12

The annual Kids Fest open house celebration at the Recreation Center, 111 N. Oceanside Road, is scheduled for this Saturday, Sept. 12 from noon to 4 p.m. As always, there will be refreshments, give-aways, pony rides and other attractions for Rockville Centre families to enjoy.
Representatives from all the village's sports organizations will attend, as well as the Rockville Centre Police and Fire departments, the Post Office, the Library, the Guild for the Arts, the Lions Club, and many others including the Nassau County Police which sent a helicopter that landed in the Rec Center's parking lot last year.
